Welding

1) Plan the outcome first.
2) FIT UP. Don't just start welding. Fit up first, and fit up as much as possible so you can see conficts or things that don't work together (eg. the trim at the smoker dor hitting the hinge).
3) Test your welder settings. Does this work on the material sizes we've got? Test settings, if possible, on something that ISN'T final product
4) Before you final weld, prep everything! This is the single biggest factor between good and bad welds.
5) Don't weld over slag. Clean then weld again. Wire wheel on the M18 cut off works best.
